National Audit Office reviewing government’s implementation of the Compact

The National Audit Office (NAO) has commenced working on a review of central government's implementation of the Compact.

The NAO review will examine the implementation of the Compact, focusing on issues of accountability and transparency. The review will conclude on the implementation of the Compact across central government, identifying and then highlighting variations in practice and making recommendations for improvements in departments and in the Office for Civil Society.  

NAO are intending on publishing the review at the end of 2011, and they would like to get the perspectives of voluntary and community organisations by 18 November 2011.

Compact Voice are encouraging organisations to feed in their experiences of central government's implementation of the Compact.
