1. How important is the charity and voluntary sector to your constituency?
Incredibly important – from organisations supporting single parents to those promoting gay rights the voluntary and charity sector contributes a vast amount to Brighton Pavilion.
2. What efforts will you make - if elected - to work with local charities and voluntary sector organisations in your constituency?
I have been doing this for some time already in y current role as a Member of the European Parliament so I am definitely planning to continue if elected to Westminster.
3. Will you champion the Compact in your constituency, to encourage better partnership working between the local public sector and the voluntary and community sector?
I think the Compact is a sound model for improving cooperation between the voluntary and community sector and the local public sector, so I am happy to promote its use in Brighton Pavilion.

Many people know about the Green Party’s strong commitment to environmental issues so it is good to have this opportunity to tell you about some of our other priorities too.
The voluntary and charity sector in Brighton Pavilion plays such a vital role and if elected to represent you I am keen to forge even stronger links with the sector.
