1. How important is the charity and voluntary sector to your constituency?
Very important. I am fortunate to have a renage of charities and voluntary sector organisations in my constituency who do a fantastic job.
2. What efforts will you make - if elected - to work with local charities and voluntary sector organisations in your constituency?
I will continue to work with charities in my constituency if elected both on their particular concerns and campaigns and more generally to support the charitable sector.
3. Will you champion the Compact in your constituency, to encourage better partnership working between the local public sector and the voluntary and community sector?
Yes. I already work with a number of charities often to try to get a better deal from the local authority and to be able to access commissioned services.
